Nous avons lancé notre premier spectacle/projet pédagogique en milieu scolaire en 2019 avec notre mini comédie musicale « Little Red », basée sur le conte traditionnel ‘Le Petit Chaperon Rouge’.
Little Red n’est pas seulement un spectacle, mais un projet éducatif complet, abordant les compétences linguistiques et artistiques, accompagnant les enfants mais aussi les enseignants. En amont du spectacle en lui-même, le projet propose 5 séances d’ateliers qui permettent aux enfants de se familiariser avec les personnages et les chansons de la performance finale. Des ressources éducatives (jeux, activités et chansons en anglais) fournies par Meledrama permettent aussi aux enseignants de développer le vocabulaire avec les élèves et explorer plus en détail leur compréhension de l’histoire. Plus les écoles s’investissent, plus le projet est enrichissant et bénéfique pour les enfants. En effet, grâce aux séances d’anticipation du spectacle, les enfants connaissent une partie des chants et danses qui le composent. Lors du spectacle, les artistes peuvent donc ponctuellement inviter leur public à participer à la performance. Les enfants sont très enthousiastes, puisqu’ils reconnaissent les éléments appris en ateliers, et très fiers de participer à un vrai spectacle. Little Red est donc une expérience complètement interactive.
We launched our first school performance project this year with our mini musical ‘Little Red’, based on the traditional story of Little Red Riding Hood.
Little Red is not just a performance but an intensive educational arts and language project to help both children and teachers alike. The project offers 5 pre-performance workshops which allows the children to familiarise themselves with the characters and songs from the show. The teachers can then develop the vocabulary and their understanding further with our user-friendly educational resources which is provided, along with the music in order to perfect their singing in English. The show is performed by professionals and the children are invited to join in, making the experience completely interactive.
The more time invested in the project, the more enriching and beneficial the project is to the children. So, by the time we arrive to perform the show, the children are ready and willing to participate in all the songs and dances.
